Texas Nurse infected with Ebola by Liberian gets blood transfusion from survivor Kent Brantly

Texas nurse who contracted the Ebola virus from Thomas has received a life saving blood transfusion from Dr.Kent Brantly ,the first person to be treated of Ebola.

Nina Pham, 26, became the first person known to contract the disease in the USA.She tested positive on Friday and by evening, she had received a transfusion of plasma from Kent Brantly because their blood type matched. She is now said to be clinically stable.

This is the third time Brantly is donating blood. The NBC cameraman who is under treatment also got the transfusion. Those who have survived Ebola have anti bodies in their blood which can help new sufferers beat the disease.

Thomas Duncan, whom everyone thought would receive the transfusion did NOT. It is ALLEGED that he could not receive the transfusion because their blood didn't match and he didn't get Zimmap either because they say it was out of stock.

*I personally find it very interesting that immediately as Ms Pham was confirmed to having the virus, several solutions were presented while Duncan received very minimal treatment solutions. Nevertheless, let's pray that she has a swift recovery. Hopefully, a cure for this evil virus is found soon. Do you guys think Duncan was treated fairly?
